    Hello everyone,
    I’m building a Thor in San Francisco CA. My goal is to install it in front of the printer and to make it remote-controllable so that people can assemble various 3d printed parts remotely. ;
    I was looking at the various tooling options and thought that I could try to make a gripper. There are several alternatives available but I wanted to reuse a NEMA instead of getting a servo. The result is a bit on the heavy side, but it has very good grip. ;
    At any rate, if it can be useful to others, here it is: ;https://github.com/accretio/thortools/tree/master/thorgripper
    And Kudos again at Angel for his design – I just assembled the homemade bearing and I was amazed by its smoothness. ;
    Cheers
    willia
