Maybe a problem with Microsteps/Step, or the number of steps in your motor?

Hi,
I did a quick search and it still seems easy to order, for example at mouser…
But it looks like it’s being used as reverse polarity protection? So it should not be important which exact diode you use as long as it can stand the voltage/current?
