Hello Angel and everyone. I’m jumping on here to say hello and that I’m participating in a modified build of Thor! I’m hoping to add another axis to Thor’s motion. I’ve built a linear rail or slider so that the robot can travel back and forth along a benchtop. I just finished printing all the parts. I modified the base to fit/bolt on to a slider mount. The arm will be inverted so that it might operate/manipulate objects on the benchtop. I have a second objective for the robot arm, but I’m going to keep that as a surprise for now. Looking forward to sharing my results. It’ll take a while!
