We are progressing with our building of the robot, although some steps are a bit difficult to manage. After building the topmost part of it, we find there is a mechanic endstop for the tilting movement of piece Art56GearPlate but not for the rotating one. Are we missing anything important?
We did not come to that problem yet so I cannot help you. I have to admit that I tried the first articulation and its endstop and did not find to work with it, although we did not continue with it since we still have other tasks to end first. If we find how to make endstops work we will write again.
As you have seen, the Art56 has not a homing sensor. When I designed the robot I didn’t find the way to locate a sensor there… There were physical limitations that made it (at least in my case) imposible to locate.
If you find the way to place a sensor there it would be a nice upgrade!
